Kato Polyclay, Swarovski crystals for their eyes, plaid glaze, 2 pieces of metal
tubing and a cord. metal tubing was imbedded underneath the side ginkgo leaves
to support the weight of holding business cards. The cord slipped through the
tubes. A very light gloss of Plaid glaze brought out a few of their bumps.

Kato Polyclay Translucent, Kato Clear Liquid Polyclay, Piñata Alcohol Inks by
Jacquard and a Swarovski crystal for her eye.
The clay was moulded and cured, then alcohol inks were put down with a paint brush, then
covered with a thin coating of the liquid polyclay and cured again. The liquid
clay protects the ink and cures crystal clear.

Kato Polyclay, Plaid glaze, Envirotex Lite, Pearlex, gum arabic and some wire.
Two vases were made and joined back to back with a wire embedded in the center.
The fan is Envirotex lite tinted with Pearlex powder. The letters started as
black polymer clay and were painted with pearlex mixed with gum arabic. |
